Now is a great time to look at joining Suffolk, as we are at the start of a new four-year strategy, where developing new, innovative approaches to looking after the health and wellbeing of older people in Suffolk is a prime objective for the council and our partners.
At Suffolk, we have a commitment to continually develop our exciting programme of social care and health integration to best respond to the changing population needs in the county. We are working in new ways with colleagues, partners and communities to develop new models of care provision, further embed person-centred, asset-based practice, and to use technology and innovative digital solutions to deliver improved health and wellbeing outcomes.
We are looking to recruit to this newly created role to join our Leadership Team and play a key strategic role in delivering our four-year strategy.
This is a joint role reporting to both the Director of Adult and Community Services (ACS) at Suffolk County Council (SCC) and the Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Strategy and Transformation at Suffolk and North East Essex Integrated Care Board (SNEE ICB).
You will be responsible for driving the transformation of Suffolk’s Adult Social Care Services across both the council and its health partners, including:
- Developing new, innovative approaches to practice and service delivery.
- Ensuring that all transformation delivers statutory requirements whilst dovetailing with the ICB’s strategic ambitions and the council’s existing transformation programmes.
- Joining-up service development and delivery between health and social care.
- Leading the planning and coordination for the adult services reform agenda within our existing transformation plans.
